Alan and Sharon are hands on owners who enjoy bringing the best of furnishings to Northlanders.

Alan officially joining his father Peter and mother, Raewyn in 1986 when the business was trading as Peter Faber Interiors . Retailing was in the blood and he had carved out a solid career in Auckland and Sydney managing a number of high profile stores.

Sharon joined the business full time in 2002 and brings an extensive background in the Insurance industry. They purchased the business in 1998.

When not working Alan and Sharon enjoy nothing more than time at the beach with family and friends (the best coastline in the world, if you ask we might tell you where.) Traveling when time allows and walking with our team member Stellar.

Introducing Kris....

I joined Fabers Furnishings 7 years ago, my job role is a little of everything from office duties to deliveries, merchandising and everything in-between. It is a very rewarding job position being able to go through the whole process from the start of the sales process to seeing the customer’s new furniture in their home and how happy they are with their purchase, especially if I have built a good relationship with the customer. I find being friendly and approachable with good sense of humor, being able to think quickly on my feet, good product knowledge, negotiation skills and good listening skills allow me to do my job well.

 In my own time, I like to spend time with my family, watching sports - WRC, Aussie V8 Supercars & Football. I enjoy spending time outdoors, fishing, hunting, going to the beach, having a beer with my mates and going for a drive in my car.
